Wheat Free Quiche


wheat free quiche1 cup vegetables, (broccoli, carrots, asparagus, cauliflower or any left-over)
1-1/2 cup Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup red onion
3 slices ham, corned beef or left-over meat or veggies substitute
2 cups 2-percent milk
4 eggs
1/2 cup potato or rice flour
1 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Combine veggies, onion, cheese and meat in a food processor on grind
place in a non stick pie plate

Mix eggs, flour, baking powder, salt and pepper. Once mixed pour over top of vegetables in pie plate.

Wheat Free Bread

450 g rice flour
25 g soft margarine or butter
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda-baking soda
1 tsp cream of tartar
pinch of salt
250 ml buttermilk
1 large egg, beaten

In a large mixing bowl sieve flour, bicarbonate of soda, cream of tartar and salt add margarine and continue until no large clumps of margarine are left.

Mix buttermilk and egg, than pour into dry ingrediants, mix with hands.

Take dough out and place on wooden flour board or cutting board and knead for 3 minutes

Shape dough into a round mound, place on a baking sheet and cook for approximately 35 minutes in a preheat 400 F degrees or until done. Remove and cool
