Even if you don’t have allergies a HEPA filter will remove all kinds of toxic chemicals like lead and asbestos. These toxins might have a long term impact on your health.

Unfortunately the HEPA filter has become a real buzz word for those who sell and market vacuums and they place HEPA filters in very poor quality machines. Many of these lower quality vacuums lack the power that is needed and these smaller particles never even reach the HEPA filter.
